This campaign has been photographed by Brigitte Niedermair, according to Elite NYC’s Instagram account. Carine Roitfeld remains as campaign stylist, however.

This is turning out to be a beautiful campaign, and oh so quintessentially Max Mara. As much as I adore Steven Meisel, last season's campaign was a total snoozefest and Brigitte Neidermair has undoubtedly done wonders here, for all its simplicity. I'm eager to see even more!

I don't know what the intended effect was, but this looks like a teenager borrowing clothes meant to be worn by a capable adult - there's no confidence coming across in either the posing or the beauty styling.
