I mean honestly, it's not really an issue of being pissed off at her removal. I don't think she cares if she was lowered, but the fact that she works more than other girls on that list is what I don't understand and would also find frustrating.

I mean how could she be taken off while Jessica Stam, Jamie Bochert, and Anna J are still on there. While Coco may have decreased the amount of prestigious work that she does, she's still working way more visible than those 3.

but bragging your achievements and then venting out your frustrations
looks too desperate and makes you look like bitter, imo
this sounds like a model behaviour to me
Oh come on,
if the model was one of your favourites you wouldn't be saying that model was bragging. Coco has been blogging for a long time, this is nothing new.
I don't mind a good debate (and some the last few posts have had the most interesting views) but when you won't even look at the whole picture and are so closed minded it is just a waste of time.

^Answer me this.........
Why is she desperate? She gets more work than many models and really, reality and that list really don't mix together:lol:

they do mix! just not 100 %:lol::lol::lol:

after thinking, dont really get why did she get those awards?
was it only for models from her hometown or what?

well she goes beyond being a model to someone who cares about her community. she hosted an annual charity event in canada for the last 2 years, she also hosted some other charity event in ny. she speaks her mind when it comes to promote a healthy modeling industry. she stands up to whatever she believes in.

she is an example of an independent, and modern woman who is not being afraid of going against certain rules or standards. being a model by no means just stand up in front of the cameras or being on the catwalks.

im sure she was rewarded as model of the year by elle for the facts that she has done more than just being a model. she has tonnes of talent in front of the cameras(she is one of the best posers ever and i meant it), she can speak eloquenly about many subjects, she helps many charities, she hosts the red carpets, etc.

people should think out of the freaking box. being a model doesnt mean he/she must appears in the pages of vogue or ad campaigns.

Arizona is everywhere these months,.... you know .. (dazed and confused, numero, Vogues, walking the major shows .. etc etc ...)
She should be immediately catapulted to the top 10!

i dont think any models who has been working for one year or less should be in the top 10.but that is just my oppinion.

def. miranda needs to move with a few other models.

I AGREEE! :flower:

i have to add that i was never fan of coco, i do not post in her thread, but i admire her work. i agree with most of your comments, marsnoop2 , Paws to name a few

I agree. I was just thinking about that today, if Joan Smalls is #7 then Arizona should be higher, they are both mostly hype anyways. This season will mark 1 year of Joan Smalls being on the scene anyway.

Coco's just bitter she isn't getting jobs any more. Before she was blaming her "weight" now MDC or whatever. It's not any of those things, it's that people didn't want to use her in eds or ads any more.

And I am ALL for Arizona switching spots with Miranda!

^ Coco's not getting any jobs? Hun, go check out her last 100 pages. The girl is always working. She may not appear in every issue of Vogue, but she works harder than a lot of the girls on that list.

i hope u actually knew about coco before making this comment. she has quite a few covers lately, elle, glow, tatler, etc. for campaigns she has a few this seasons as well, like port international and a few more which i dont remember bc im not her biggest fan. she doesn't have as much works as before but she still has a decent amount of works.

bottom line, it's plain rude to be ignorant when making comments without supports.

I'll never understand why some people just make up things and post them like facts. So immature and irresponsible.

As silly as this will sound.. this is my take on it.

Coco is too "iconic" for the models top 50 list.. yet not "iconic" enough for the other lists

I don't think she is top 10 and at the same time I don't think models.com wanted to drop her lower on the list.. maybe it was deemed more "respectful" to take her out of the list instead.

^Interesting take. I sure understand what you are saying. The list is strange enough as it is. Coco works more than some on that list, so I can sure see that happening.

Interesting take indeed... but if this was the real intention MDC had when they took her out, then they should take out Stam and Lily D. as well... 'cause imo, Coco is just as "iconic" as those 2.
