she'll move to the icons list sooner or later

I think the Top Icons list should have 25 not 20
its not enough to fill the spots and they have to remove some like
Eva Herzigova next they'll remove Liya and replace her with Lara

Yes to that! Expand the list rather than remove models. Poor Eva and Guinevere, they both deserve spots there. I do hope they remove Isabeli, she wasn't that iconic. I do not hate any VS girls for that matter.

Isabeli I think can be kept in the Icon list
but she should be below in the rank compared to MariaCarla and Malgosia

pls isabeli has been working for more then a decade,and avery season she has amazing number of ad campaigns. just this season she got more campaigns then most of the "ICONS" and for all this time she been working she has been consistent in all of her work.is not just one designer favorite i mean everbody looves her.

yes! she started in 1996, and was in VS when she was 16.... she walked for all major brands and designers, did amazing campaigns D&G, Versace, Escada, Cavalli, Moschino..... she was in Pirelli calendar more than once and had numerous covers from ID, Vogue, Time, Numero, Flair......

Guinevere should definitely be on the icons list. Her body of work is stupendous and there's very few models of her caliber working today. I think she'll really leave a mark in the modeling world once she's gone.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this list rank the "icons" not by their iconic status, i.e. #1 on the list is not meant to be more iconic than #10, but by their current workload? Isabeli is working a hell lot right now. In fact, she has constantly done so since she started over ten years ago. She always has a t least one blue chip campaign per season, walks the biggest shows, snags up lots of covers and gets a lot of commercial work, too. So to me her rank makes complete sense. I'm often surprised by how many people think she isn't very well known or iconic or anything, she is one of the biggest models of the past decade!

That's why I said current workload. But I wasn't referring to your post concerning people doubting her her spot on the icons list, I should have mentioned that. Sorry. And true, there are models on the working icons list who aren't really working all that much at the moment Makes me think MDC itself doesn't know what exactly they want to rank there

I agree that they should either expand the list or make separate lists for topmodels who have been around for, say, more than 10 years and are still working a hell lot and a list for the true icons who haven't given up modeling completely (i.e the 90's supermodels who don't model a lot but still get a major campaign, runway exclusive or cover every now and then, like Linda, Claudia, Kristen McMenamy et al.)

Totally in to the Top 10 for me, like 7 or 8 is cool.

i would love for lara to stay there for another year or half. and the icon list to stay at 20. it's more prestige to have a small list of icon than a large one. lara wont enter the top 10 if they ever decide to move her. i remember raquel entered at 13. i would say lara enter in 12 or 11 spot.

what i think they should do is remove all the supers
i mean we know who they are,what they did in fashion.they shouldnt be in there competing with giselle,isabeli,mcb,raquel who every season they kill it with covers,editoriasl,campaigns you know? is just not a good look.B)

maybe they should create a top 10 legend list!
only models who been working close or more then 2 decades!
