and the Icons list Raquel Zimmermann needs to move up
she may not get that much celebritity buzz in the fashion and entertainment world like Kate, Gisel or Natalia but she has been getting many campaigns again and the big blue chip ones. maybe No.10 or No.12
she gets way more than say campaigns and work than say Liya or Angela

I may not like Candice but I think she deserves to be in the rankings now
if Miranda Kerr can top No.6 why Candice can't be in the list ?

what if Anna W. never liked Arizona M.
same with Willy Vand/Mirander Kerr
and countless others

would any of them be where they are...maybe, but we don't know that
I'm sure every model dreams of breaking into the game as a favorite, which gets you noticed by others in the industry
then you get on your own two feet and have to impress others yourself with talent

Co-sign, Freja and Lagerfeld is another obvious example as well, most models male it big by becoming a favorite / muse of tastemakers.

Candice should replace Miranda tbh. But a lower ranking I guess, maybe top 18 or something. Frida needs to move up too, she's a US Vogue favorite and she shot with Meisel now.

and i believe Candice got Versace perfume, Oscar DelaRenta and Tom Ford right ? while say Miranda has none
maybe no.30 or below debut for Candice but must be lower than Maryna
as for Miranda, No Campaigns and still No.6 ?

I agree Frida is very underrated, but she may end up like Maryna sticking for a long time although not really making it that big

i don't know a great deal about past MDC rankings so this is just a genuine question, but is there a 'rule' that MDC have that they won't remove/significantly lower the ranking of a model if they have just had a season off to have a baby if they believe they will return to the same amount of work? or have there been cases in which they have been removed completely (i'm not talking about models who have taken years off, just 1-ish season)

Actually, it is confirmed (by seen and her self) that she is OG for Tom Ford and she is OG in versace parfume. ODLR isn't sure, it was more like a wish I believe. Said that, Miranda did MG Prada which she basicly just one of the big cast and MG Jill Sander. Really not that impressive IMO, it's big ofcourse, but not stellar.
Miranda did a lot of big eds in like VI and US Vogue and a cover for VI, but putting her on the same spot as Constance who did a lot more work and also got a estee lauder contract, really doesn't make sence. Because of her absence Miranda should moved down a couple spots. I think we all know she was pregnant, which is great for her but that doesn't explain why she is still in that spot, i rase bigger questions. Especially when you consider that Doutzen Kroes is moved down by the moneygirls cause during her pregnancy she didn't work and didn't bring any money.
Miranda should not be out the list, consider her work, but defo moved down.
Candice should be 30 or something, she desevers it. And who cares if she got HF because of VS, really what's the point of bringing that up. She is working it now and she is hot.

This list basically needs a MAJOR renovation with all the new girls snagging huge campaigns. There are so many girls who could be removed and so many girls who need to be added, basically all the Prada/Balenciaga/Valentino girls that aren't there already lol.

MDC need to get better at updating their lists more frequently, I get sick of it staying the same for a whole month and then changing ever so slightly and then waiting another month with another small change.

LittleKiki I agree, although I was thinking about this earlier. I think it's good that the list doesn't change everyday day/week. For one thing I think the people at mdc would just give up and not carry on if the ranking became their full time job. The modelling industry changes every week, some girls are on top then they disappear the next. So many lists have died in the past because they're constantly being updated, including the fashion spot list. So I think it's better to wait. Imagine how many new girls are going to go on now that the Prada and Balenciaga campaigns are out, most won't even be around this time next year. So I think mdc is good because it reflects longevity. You never know when a vetereran will be on top again, so it can be premature to remove her from the list.
