But wasn't her VS contract not fully renewed, perhaps at her and her management's request, so that she can pursue other options? If so, she could have taken a $1-2 million dollar hit, and while high fashion campaigns get all the glory and prestige, it will take a lot of Loewe's and Moschinos to make up for the VS shortfall. Now I do think that she is investing in "her brand" in a way that may pay off more in the long-term than what she lost at VS, and long-term can be as short as a couple of seasons, but if what I am stating is true, then she is going to have to book a lot of paying jobs to replace her VS money, which it sounds like she is doing, but she is going to have to keep booking new campaigns and re-booking existing campaigns.

Also, money from contracts is guaranteed and can be counted prospectively, of course there are exceptions and caveats, but there may be a lag effect for counting fees from campaigns.
