Stam should definitly be in the icons list now, she should have been number one in like 2007. Her campaign list is staggering, probably the most campaigns out of any of the top ten girls.

i don't know, stam is languishing in post-success limbo. she doesn't seem to have the same draw use to have to deserve a spot in an all exclusive icons list. same can be said for lily, anna j and miranda.they'll hang around long enough until they're just removed.lol

I'm sorry but Models.com list is really freaking delusional, Natasha Poly DEFINITELY DESERVES the #1 spot, she's been working hard and getting ads since 2005!...Lara started in 2007, and the fact that she has a "body" people think she's unique or something, UGH, NO, and if not Natasha then some other girl that's been working hard at least like Anja, Jessica, or even Lily D. ...

I don't really care if Natasha reaches Number 1
I think Freja will take that Spot. Natasha has proven her longevity
and she deserves to be moved to the icons list in a few years time.
Jessica aand Lily I dont think will not get No.1, sure they are old school like Natasha but they havent done that much these days

started in 2004 , Natasha is a survivor , other have passed their time ans she's still here. maybe 2 yaers from now she will be like MariaCarla she'll get her recognition soon

kournikov, Lara started modeling 12 years ago, it just took some time until she "happened".

Natasha's recent career progression does certainly lack significant advertisement gigs. H&M and one picture in the latest Givenchy ads is nice, but she's sharing the stuff with other girls.

Natasha can't even begin to compare herself to Lara, Freja and Raquel when it comes to campaigns. Is she even in the top 20 when it comes to campaigns?

Oh please, Natasha shouldn't even be in the top 5. I love Natasha, but her campaign list is really lame compared to the rest of the girls in the top 5.

^^ i love nat,but i kind of agree.
i feel she is what freja is right now but two years ago.
she may not have many campaign, but i mean 12 vogue cover in one year?
thats more then any model get in their entire career.
im not sure but anja, karlie, abbey have not have that many covers in their whole career.

^
Agree Natasha's peak was 2009, Sasha's was 2008 and Freja was 2010
but Natasha still deserves Top 5 Placement she get editorials and VP Covers
to make up for her Campaign Lists and she still books shows, she can select
where she can walk and still opens shows and to think she started 2004,
isn't that = eons in the modeling world ? lol
only a few have made it this far

Natasha, Sasha, Lily, Sasha, Jessica, AnnaMaria ,Anja ( Old School for me ) and they deserve a thumbs up for staying longevity. I feel Caroline Trentini will be removed anytime now

I love Natasha, but she hasn't had that many campaigns coming in.. Only major one that I can recall is this Givenchy, Lanvin for H&M and Gucci S/S2010. And Gucci was OG.

But Lara has more stuff that Natasha doesn't. Lara has fragrance contracts up the as$ and cosmetics as well. The only that I have seen from Natasha that I can remember is the Gucci by Gucci fragrance.

But all models have their rising RISING year. This is just Freja's year. The whole 2010 actually.

And I'm no fan of Freja or Lara.. But this is a business. And all three of them have longetivity. And they have shown for it. Is cut-throat.

Natasha is to runway, Freja is to campaigns and Lara to magazines for the year of 2010. Two or three years ago. Natasha was everywhere. Then Lara. And now Freja.

IMO, the top 5 of the women's ranking should be changed. They should move down Natasha to 5 tied with Abbey and leave Freja alone on number 2.

Come to think of it, I think this is how the top 5 should be:

5. Natasha Poly (2 Vogue Paris covers in less than a year, Givenchy, H&M) and Sasha Pivovarova (Miu Miu, Alberta Ferretti)
4. Anja Rubik (DKNY Fragrance, Fendi, Gap, Giuseppe Zanotti) and Abbey Lee Kershaw (Donna Karan, Hugo Boss, Versace Tom Ford)
3. Karlie Kloss (Dior, Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, OG editorials in US Vogue, Vogue Italia cover)
2. Freja Beha Erichsen (Chanel, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, 3 Vogue Italia covers in less than a year, regular Vogue Paris appearances)
1. Lara Stone (Calvin Klein exclusive contract, 2 Vogue Paris covers in less than a year)

I think models have their years. Like most of you said, 20(insert two digits here) was (insert models name here). It is just that this list is more than the model's hype that particular year, but instead, the years to come. To be Number #1 a model should be able to hold on to her momentum. and also, in some cases, that model should pave the way for certain kinds of wave. Example of these are: Giselle - Hot, Sexy Brazilians ; Gemma - Baby doll faces ; Lara - Voluptous curves, full-figured woman.

LOL what did I just said?

Agree. One of the big differences between Lara and Freja is that Freja's campaigns are MG and Lara OG, also Lara got two OG covers and Freja 1 out of 3 VI when it comes to the number 1 spot. The rest really speaks for themselfs.

sooner or later i guess natasha deserved in the icon list..

well after i saw the description list of Style Savvy i'm absolutely agree more *deal with it B)*

yep, Natasha just needs to hang on to 2 more years and she will be moved to the icons list

I think this year Lara will be moved to the icons and Freja will be Numero Uno
