she has views because she started modeling again ?
You see e.g. Kate, Natalia or even Eva, Karen on the VIP lists at Etam because they dont need to , they are known and have been given public recognition

and I never brought up anything, did I meantion the word VS ? never mentioned it in my upper posts

for me it will be a massive travesty if Kurkova will be in the icon list which I doubt will happen again and Stella Tennant deserves it so much, imo

While you make a point saying that viewers does not equate to greatness ,you're not giving a valid point saying that followers don't.I mean,if the girl has followers then she must be either:
a)Liked
b)Good

To be honest,I think KK fans are some of the most loyal out there.Because they have waited for her and support her through all these years.
Etam?Isn't that a lingerie brand? You know why they have vip acess or whatever you meant to say?Because (except for Natalia)they don't have the body to walk the show, KK does.
Kurkova is just as known as Kate Moss or Karen or anyone you'd like to bring here.She reached the celebrity status back then,and she still is considered a celebrity and a model.
And yes,you did mention the word vs.Not on this thread but you have stated different times (read:The campaign covers and the Models Versus thread) that VS girls do not deserve major campaigns in your opinion.
For me it will be a massive travesty if Stella Tenant features on the icon list and KK doesn't.

and Natalia fans are loyal too, even when the kurkovas went in the face
with Natalia's career was gonna end after she gave birth to lucas, on contrary her modelling/media exposure soared and look who
had given more inspiration to HF World and contributed more , imo

Stella Tennant was big in the early 90's her career would have been bigger if she hadn't retired early and look at her now, steadily all these years she is gaining editorials and campaigns after being absent for a while, Stella definitely deserves the icon list

Kurkova has proven her worth,or at least that's what I think.
She had a great comeback and no,not becuse she's back she deserves to be an icon.
She was an icon already,now that she's got JPG,Bottega Venneta,MaxMara ,has been in vogue españa cover,numero cover,editorials in vogue nippon & i-D etc there's no doubt she's worth the hype.
The ranking is not about who has contribuited more to the HF world,it's about ...well I'll quote it for you.

The VIP club: those working "icons" of the moment - defined as celebrity models with public recognition, established longevity and a major magazine cover within the last 3 years.

These stars can always be counted on to capture more than their fair share of covers and campaigns.

Of course, as is a celebrity model's prerogative, these "brand name" girls don't peddle the NY/London/Milan/Paris runway treadmill full time, or run from magazine shoot to magazine shoot, leaving that arena wide open to the new generation.

I tried to defend my point of view ,but now that you mention she's actually quite right!
I will sit here staring at Stella Tenant 4-5 years old beauty contract while crying because everyone's right and I'm so wrong Kurkova is a fail model.

Excuse the double post, but if a lucrative commercial contract isn't enough for you, KK has also done print ads for Dell (2007) and Mercedes-Benz (2011). The real question is, what hasn't she done yet?

if kurkova can keep up her modeling career in the next 5 years and maybe land some exclusive beauty/perfume contracts etc.
