Meghan Collison Makes Styling Debut for Catalogue Winter 2014

NEW YORK — Although Meghan Collison can now add styling to her extensive CV, she is quite happy with modeling. “As far as being a stylist, I don’t think that is in my future, but then again, never say never.” That she does both for the Winter 2014 cover story of Australian magazine Catalogue is a testament to Meghan’s fashion nous. Asked to style the Nick Hudson cover shoot, Meghan acquiesced and immediately embraced the challenge steeling away to Tumblr for inspiration and ultimately her deep closet for the cold, hard currency of any shoot — clothes! Meghan’s closet is flush with a wealth of pieces accumulated throughout years of a successful career in modeling. Meghan looked to the fashion icons of the 1960s and early 1970s such as Jane Birkin, Twiggy, and Cher for inspiration. The resulting cover story transmits the same richness and warmth of that era, but with a unique understanding of fashion heritage that only Meghan could possess.
