i love love love this bag. reminds me of a minimal version of the Balenciaga Day. problem is, it's so huge, my whole arms would sink into that bag while looking for something on the bottom... and we all know that the things we're looking for in a bag ALWAYS end up at the bottom

^That's an Etro bag, right? I love it, it looks so chic. And the size is just perfect!

^^on a man (outside the catwalk) this bag would look ridiculous seriously ....
i've been into that femal bags phase like 2yrs ago .... but i don't know now i can't face a man wearing those bags ... i think it looks ridiculous ... and when i see old pictures of me with clutch or women bags i feel ashamed ... but my collection of vintage clutchs (35) and bags is still precious to me ... and i still buy some ... ahah ...^_^

the future is in case ... or a come-back of shoulder bags (despatch bags ?)

we are MEN ! :lol::lol:

Yeah, I had a masculine phase for about . . fifteen years, but it never killed my jealousy of women.

I really like big bags but they tend to weigh quite a lot, and when they get the junk in the handles start buckling and my shoulder gains a permanent groove where the strap rests.

Love at first sight for me with this alligator tote by Tod's.

^I'm not a big fan of Tod's, but that bag looks amazing!

i like the Etro, but like i said, unless you're 6 feet 5 +, it'll look ridiculously large on you. it'd also help if you'd have arms like Phelps.

and that Tod's is super yum.

i'm learning to not care about most bags if they're for women or men. unless it's too petite and feminine, i believe i should be able to carry it.

i could do this one in summer

and this one for winter

Hermes Jige for all seasons.

I have the Louis Vuitton Document holder. It's nice to carry a my Mac and a few folders for meetings and interviews, but I'd never use it on a daily basis as a bag because its large and unpractical.

I felt the LV document holder this week and the quality is very good. Too bad you can't own it here in London since everyone rocks genuine LV monogram canvas leather goods.

^so? cause everyone has Vuitton, you don't want this? the portfolio is utterly classic & timeless. perfect with a blazer in spring/summer, a trench/coat in fall/winter.

this image pushed me over the edge. my Piccadilly is on its' way. gotta make use of the weak as* GBP, no?

^That bag is gorgeous.

Me wants the LV Document holder too. Would be perfect for my mac! :)

i was gonna get that marc by marc bag/clutch thing but thought it was too fem.. i mistaken

^if you are enough masculine to balance it ... well that's ok ... but don't take it blue ! and don't wear AA black leggings .... ;)

lol

that hipster look that you painted in my mind is hilariously hideous.

je t'adore

beside that... i think the blue/turquoise would be really cool. especially since i tend to wear different shades & textures of blues anyways. we'll see, we'll see.....

no blue (i'd like it in black or an off white color, something mute) and definitely no black leggings!

another option for the document holder is the bequia leather one though it is about twice as much as the monogram. you could also special order one in damier canvas i believe.

sorry i meant Siwa leather

the Siwa one isn't a document holder per se, but a notebook case. since it's soft leather and lined with fabric, it doesn't hold its' shape as well as the actual document holder, which is lined with a pretty sturdy grained leather.

Hey.. did you find this heavy?? I really wanted to get this, but I almost died when I picked it up - it's heavy even without anything!! It's gorgeous though.. sigh..

huh? heavy? i don't know if i've spent enough time in the gym, but i wouldn't call the bag "heavy" per se. there's a nice heft to it, which i like. when i pick it up, i "know" that i'm carrying a bag, there's something i can "feel". the leather is thicker so clearly it's heavier than, say, a Balenciaga bag or something made of Canvas.

in the short time i've owned it, i've already stuffed it to the rim (coat, hoodie, books, my usual huge water bottle, eats, groceries) and while i couldn't carry it on my shoulder (hard thing to do with winterclothes on) i could carry it pretty comfortably in the nook of my arm.

maybe 2 months of working the dumbbells and daily proteinshakes might make a difference lol.
