Oh good.

Really, it is based in confidence. The good thing about being short is that we can also fit into women's sizes which, with designers like Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons and Yamamoto is great because they all are a bit unisex. So it gives you a lot more to choose from.

By the way: there is a special thread about this topic in the "Personal Style-Forum"

You talking about Riding boots or shopping in the Womens section? I know of the riding boot thread but the only men wearing women clothing thread i know of is about heels. Heels just aren't for me.

I'm not talking about shopping in the women's section here (although it would be easier for me because of my small feet) :innocent: .

And: heels aren't for me, too.

Yeah, heels are uncomfortable. I'm glad that Ann Demeulemeester makes a lot of the same shoes for men and women, especially since her shop in Antwerp starts with size 42 in mens and I were a 40.

how is the quality with martin margiela shoes? a pair caught my eye online and i am considering taking the plunge. most of my shoes are from leather goods companies such as gucci and prada and i was wondering if margiela shoes are of the same caliber?

I haven't thought much of the quality of Gucci or Prada shoes I've seen. Both of my Margiela shoes are very high quality but I also bought them several years ago so I can't say if the quality is the same recently.

thank you very much! i am a bit wary since i have never seen or touched anything margiela in person but with the lenient return policy it wont hurt to buy them and find out. -

I think of getting these Lanvin sneakers soon. I know they aren't that special, but I actually need a pair of basic shoes.

After that I'll spend my money on a pair of boots (probably by Demeleumeester) and some "evening shoes" by Bottega Veneta.

I tried some of them on yesterday. The denim and suede ones are the most comfortable ones. But the leather ones are the best looking.

i really want some mixed media boots! like half leather/half suede

I just received these Maison Martin Margiela shoes from Yoox. They may seem like ordinary brown lace up shoes but upon a closer look the heel is hammered with silver and gold nails. Very unique! They are from SS'09 and I remember they were about $1,200 from Barneys. I got these for a steal at more than 50% off.
