Metallic leather care

Hi, I would appreciate some useful advice on the following:

I have purchased a pair of Roger Vivier baby pink metallic leather flats from Yoox. They have a few scratches in the leather, but not very noticeable except for a 3/4 mm mark in the buckle area. Is there any treatment to protect the leather or minimize this? Or should I just return them?

metallics just come like that. They are just more sensitive. All my metallic shoes get scratches or rub offs easy

yeah my YSL gold DADA shoes came "unperfect" but they hadn't even been touched by anyone...that is the way it is. My Prada gold whipsnake sandals this season had stratches etc just from the box I guess.

My Prada silver whipsnake when I wore them the first time show alot of wear...and my silver Manolos from a year or so ago....came with rub offs.

These are all brand new never tried on...just the way it is!

Yeah, I think I'll keep them. They were really cheap, and I can always say they're vintage...
