Mia Wasikowska

I have been checked out this thread in ages. Amazing Rodarte dress.

The hair didn't look good at the Abbie Cornish event, but it looks so much better at the last one. It does age her, though. She kind of resembles Martha Plimpton in some pictures with short hair. Claire Danes with longer.

She looks great. I hope we see more candids of her. This thread will definitely be a favourite of mine if we see her more often. With Sucker Punch and Alice in Wonderland coming out, I guess we will!

she's in a new film called The Kids are All Right....it's playing at sundance.. with julianne moore, mark ruffalo and annette bening. it looks good...i can't wait to see it.

she does have the face to pull of that pixie cut. I still don't like it but she looks cute

I think shes adorable i love the pixie cut on her and Im jealous she can pull it off, love the black Rodarte dress too on the previous page:heart:

I know everyone says this when someone gets a pixie cut but I totally see a Mia Farrow resemblance

She'll be on the cover of March Teen Vogue!

Teen Vogue shot newcomer Mia Wasikowska, star of Tim Burton’s upcoming “Alice in Wonderland,” for its cover.

She will be on the Vanity Fair 'New Hollywood' March cover:

it's a shame she didn't make the actual cover!

Mia Wasikowska
You may remember this Australian beauty from her heart-wrenching role as a gymnast on HBO's In Treatment, or maybe she's a completely fresh face to you; either way, her down-under style is high on our radar and not to be overlooked! Wasikowska's tomboyish pairing of vintage evening shorts and pilgrim buckle shoes is a uniquely chic choice for running between screenings, and we love how her black anorak offers a hint of outdoorsy spirit that's perfectly appropriate for this mountain clime. Additionally, her sartorial fearlessness to pair burgundy shorts with a red sweater—and a hint of a boater tee—reminds that not only are we excited for her big-screen debut as Alice in Timothy Burton's Alice in Wonderland, we are thrilled to continue to track her singular style! Get a head start by working in a few key Wasikowska-inspired pieces to your existing wardrobe, like a cozy scarf and some evening shorts. We recommend Chan Luu's Luxurious Cashmere Silk Scarf ($195), and St. John's Belted Shorts ($295)—a posh pair that pays homage to Wasikowska's unique color palette.
