The F/W 2026.27 Show Schedules...
Chickadee I'm insanely jealous if you got to see Madame Bovary with Mia there!
Personally not a fan of these waist illusion dresses, so I'm not feeling this look.

I did! And I got to ask her and the director Sophie Barthes a question; it was unbelievable. She's actually quite small in person, and she and Laura were very cute together, chatting, before they went on stage to introduce the film.
That said, the movie ain't that great. It's beautiful - the score is beautiful, the cinematography and the costumes are beautiful - but I think the whole film was miscast. Mia and Ezra Miller are some of the best actors of this generation, but the script did them very little favors. And beyond the beauty of the landscape/cinematography and the charisma of the actors, it just wasn't very engaging as a film I'm sorry to say.
Edited to keep this about fashion: I agree with you about the dress by the way - but the texture in person was really fascinating.
I feel a lot of period films end up being style over substance, unfortunately. Good on you for asking questions!
