Michael Kors Collection F/W 2019.20 : Rianne Van Rompaey by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin

that evian feels very plastic water bottle in game of thrones

rianne is a much better fit than binx for MK, but this ad does not feel MK at all

I really like this. I can't wait to see the full 2 page spread in magazines.

Very Gucci on a low budget indeed. I can see Rianne as a Michael Kors woman but only if she were glammed up more; this way it looks purposely messy and eclectic without substance and draws comparisons with many other brands before Kors.

Michael Kors is always a watered-down copy of whatever other brand the company can piggy-back on. A while ago, they were all about being a more accessible version of Ralph Lauren's American luxe. Today, they're serving up leftovers of the contrived chaos of Gucci.

I thought the Binx campaign was effective in the sense that the focus remained on the clothes despite that busy set. And it actually looked luxurious.
I'm more irked by Rianne's hair here, which btw looks really terrible.

I don't feel like looking at a single item of clothing. Can't believe it's by I&V.

Agreed I'd much rather see Binx here she also brings a element of coolness that Riane just doesn't...

The whole thing just screams gucci.. waiting for a photo with Harry Styles + Riane to surface lol

Wasn’t the collection about Studio 54? Or party at least?
This is bad.
And those bags are hideous...

TRAGIC!
This is a demonstration of a Gucci campaign by Juergen Teller.

This is so... just so bad. It reminds me of that Amber Valetta Versace shoot inspired by Valley of the Dolls (2000?) but just far far far worse.

Since the forced retirement of Testino, MK has been trying to subtly redefine the MK woman in order to attract millennials. Rianne does a better job than Binx.... and the campaigns are more effective with I&V and this styling...IMO

The set is really bad. I guess the Michael Kors woman should’ve stayed inside the car...
