Michael Kors Collection S/S 2026 New York

I felt this show was a bit dull, even pale, for a spring/summer collection: too many neutral, earthy, brown tones. Moreover, it lacked the real glamour — theatrical and chic — that Michael Kors used to be known for. That said, it certainly wasn’t lacking in class — but rather, it came across as somewhat sloppy.

I kinda liked it, but my main question (hope its not offensive) but Frankie Rayder´s eyes? did she had any procedure? because she looks odd

I like it, probably the only NYFW show I will enjoy this season. The soundtrack is sublime.

Is this very original? No, this is very Max Mara for New Yorker, very European. But still MK has standards and his taste is quite chic. There are a lot of good pieces in this collection.

And this is the first time I have enjoyed Carlos Nazario's styling.

They need to switch up the styling team because the results are alway the same season after season. There is always so much layering of the same color in this wannabe MaxMara carine way that anything good gets swallowed up. Then they throw the accessories on randomly and it feels overkill but also so boring. I get MK got product to sell but there is always just a lack of REAL sophistication to it the last few years. Also the hair and makeup always boring. Michael needs a team with stronger vision for his shows because i couldn’t tell any of the seasons apart at this point.

I can't remember any of MK's collections these days. Which is a shame because he had a few definite standouts firstly in the 00s when he was doing those ultra commercial but very straight forward collections and then in the early - mid 2010s when he started to elevate his signatures a bit and make them a bit more "luxe" (forgive use of the term).

I don't mind Carlos' styling for Kors, but then his influence obviously gets carried along to the campaigns, which are really flat and forgettable. So I agree a different creative team would be great. Almost wonder if Carlyne would be a good fit for the shows; she used to use his clothes really well. She's probably beyond the stage in her career where she wants to spend hours backstage during Fashion Week though.

Superb casting as ever though, and everyone looks beautiful.

This feels like a watered down version of the more alluring The Row collections in the 2010s – decent for the standard of today NYFW.

I don’t want that shade of salmon to be back. Absolutely not please.

There’s an air of Max Mara to this that I find too obvious. It doesn’t read as classic. Easy, of course. But here it’s faceless and too serious. You’re Michael Kors after all, you were on Project Runway and did some rather sports glam Celine collections that were (retrospectively) kinda fun and done well for what they were worth. Loosen up.

I am really tired of the Corporate Boss B!tch at the Spa look, whipsy old lady hair with no make up is just boring and does not look sexy. As others have stated way too Banana Republic.

Cast was so good I couldn’t even pay that much attention to the clothes themselves… That being said, it feels very fluid and easygoing.

I miss the MK when Carmen or Karmen where his muses. Around that time his work was more interesting, now it seems dull and repetitive
And loved it when the male and female model used to walk down together as the last looks

I like it.
I like it because those are just simple plain clothes that a lot of women could wear during spring and summer. It doesn’t look very fashion, it doesn’t add anything to anything but it serves a purpose very well.

I like it because I can picture it in it environment. But it’s not worthy of a show.

And yes, very Banana Republic. It’s Mouna Ayoub who said that Michael Kors was her Gap?
Then I would close my eyes and imagine a lot of women in St Barths or St Jean Cap Ferrat wearing this during summer. And for the mass, hopefully, they will get the « REAL DEAL » at Banana Republic/Mango.
