I like that Michael Kors produces classic wear, but this is slightly too commercial. Not a fan.

It's a solid collection; he's been very on consistently for the last couple of years for me. I like the injections of colour, but I can see why some aren't fans and yes, it's certainly rather safe compared to say the more overt luxe feel of F/W 15.
