I think that's rude for the poeple on style section. And I think that politics have to do with how you judge a person - and her style. Well maybe not here, but when you see posts on the internet, usually the democrats love her while the Republicans always point the size of the clothes and how the belt doesn't work and all that. If you don't like her policies you'll be more inclined to criticize her style too.
perhaps in right wing sites, but most Americans who are in the middle politically speaking have always given more respect to the 1st lady than the president himself. For one, First lady has no 'political stand or national policy,' so I fail to see why anyone would accuse Michelle Obama for being one. In fact, her PR have mostly down played her strength and career achievements since her husband was elected, to the extend that you only hear about her fashion sense than any of the amazing work she does for military family and school children. Her approval rating is higher than Obama and many other first ladies in the past with the exception of Leonor Roosavelt and Jackie Kennedy.
