she just hardly look at the interviewing person,instead she looks at her outfit and shos all the time,and sits with a smug look on her face like omg,can you beleive what a big movie star i m and how gorgeous i am? unbelievable,no?
and she speaks very slowly and sort of laughs at her own jokes in a way that haha im so funny.
she just thinks that she's the queen of the world.nd doesnt seem to be grateful for success she's had ,she thinks everyone owes her something,shes so specil or has anything sweet to say bout her family or costars

To me she just comes across as a bit media shy maybe...
but I can't say I blame her for that.
She is a confident woman...
and doesn't try to be a girl at all like some older women in Hollywood feel the need to do.

In the Allure article she spoke about her family...
how she basically dropped out of the spotlight to raise a normal family.
I just always love people who aren't afraid to do that.
It's refreshing in a town where everyone is just desperate for approval.

I hope to see her at some awards shows this year.
In Armani I will guess.

with all due respect shoegal4eva, i think you are mistaking michelle's age and disinterest in hollywood games for bitchiness...
she has NEVER come across as bitchy imo, and i have seen her interviewed a lot....what she does come across as, especially lately, is a middle aged woman who doesnt have anything to prove, and doesnt need to play the PR hollywood game in order to succeed....she has a successful marriage, two teenaged kids and has had a great career for many yrs....and she has also said over and over again that for her, family comes first....i think particularly now that she has been out of the limelight for so many yrs, things have probably fallen into perspective even more than before....

it's funny that people seem to misinterpret that...
i think it's the same misunderstanding with angelina jolie...
people mistake that kind of disillusionment with hollywood game-playing as a kind of coldness or bitchiness, when in fact i think it's a really healthy distancing from all the superficial garbage that hollywood spurts out year after year....believe it or not there are people in hollywood who want to do good work and arent interested in being asked silly questions and playing the PR game....and i think after yrs in the business michelle is probably in that place now more than ever....

just a different perspective for you to consider....

thats a very good point adorefaith.i love michelle as an actress and a very stylish woman...maybe i just saw a couple of bad interviews that came off funny.i have to say that i dont like a lot of interviews with jay leno because he seems to dumb everytihng down.
