Michelle Williams

Wow, she's so beautiful here!! Based on these looks she could easily take on another classic screen queen biopic.

Michelle's stylist is always winning awards, and quite right too. Her style is probably the most consistent (next to Rooney Mara).

It's only consistent because she HAS to wear LV everywhere.

I just have to say it, I hate LV. No comment on that dress. She looks beautiful as always, and I love her candid style though.

I'm trying really hard to find something redeeming about this dress, but sadly, nothing. Rooney already picked the vaguely interesting one. The colours, detail and proportions are off. Nicolas should get his act together!

No comment on the LV look. But, as usual, her street style is marvelous.

The candid outfit is incredibly Michelle. I will pretend that the outfit for the exhibition never happened.

Michelle Williams and Sarah Paulson Celebrate Ulla Johnson’s New Boutique in Noho

Ulla Johnson celebrated the opening of her flagship boutique Thursday evening, with friends including Michelle Williams, Sarah Paulson, and Kate Young. Guests gathered at the pink 15 Bleecker Street shop to toast, with cocktails, Johnson’s new endeavor. Paulson said the store was the perfect mix of simple and pretty: “I just want to live in there!”

The cocktails were followed by an intimate meal at De Maria, just a few blocks over on Kenmare. Johnson and friends mingled before dinner, posing for photos and sipping specialty cocktails and rosé. The quaint restaurant proved to be the perfect venue to complement Johnson’s pink store and successful line, which guests could not help but gush over.

“I really love that every time I put on something of hers, everyone asks me, ‘What is that? Where did you get it? Is that vintage?!’ ” Michelle Williams said. “I love how wearable it is, how approachable it is, and how comfortable it is. It’s an everyday kind of thing for me.”

Paulson agreed, saying that the clothes were versatile and could easily be worn from day to night with the switch of a shoe. “I just think you always feel like yourself when you’re wearing Ulla, which is really, really a wonderful quality in a designer and in clothing that you want to put your hard-earned money towards,” the American Horror Story actress, who will be attending the Met Gala this Monday, said. “I feel like if you’re going to spend your money these days, you want to get something you’re really going to wear and something that makes you feel good.”

Other diners included Vogue’s Sally Singer, actress and filmmaker Greta Gerwig, and jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth, who loaned Paulson a piece from her line (straight off of her neck, by the way) to wear as a headpiece, seen in Paulson’s Instagram.
