Michelle Williams

The Oscars dress is pretty closeup, but from a distance I though Emma Roberts' very similar dress was a far better look.

And enough with the bleach blonde hair, she's so much more beautiful as a golden blonde, 2006 marigold dress at the Oscars anyone?

Michelle says she would wear a protest T-shirt if was socially acceptable. Hey Michelle -- the looks we remember the best aren't because they are "socially acceptable," but because they are risky and deviate from the trends. I can only roll my eyes at her for not being brave. If Cher and Bjork can easily say screw it to fashion, and being themselves, so can she.

I like the textures on the gown of her skirt, but Emma Roberts' wore the better version of the black/white gown.

Mentioned the 2006 Oscars two pages ago too :blush: It was such a perfect moment and she never looked more beautiful. The Oscar dress is cute-ish but I'm getting really tired of her post-modern Mia Farrow aesthetic.

I was pleasantly surprised by her Oscars dress, but obviously 2006 shows that she is capable of much better. I am fascinated by her in every interview, though - she seems like such an interesting, smart and genuinely kind woman.

I wonder which dress worn by jean seberg kate young referred to in the interview, seberg seems to be her overall style inspiration anyway. I think the crop looked the best when she first had it cut (2007?) for some reason...might be due to the strawberry blonde hue back then. still superior to that AWFUL soccer mom sideswept fringe she sported for so long....jeebus. she should finally manage to get away from this ridiculous twee aesthetic that ruins her stylewise; she'd rock clean, minimalist and androgynous clothing.

same - i am so done with the white bleached hair. she's hardly let it go since she played marilyn. the dress was cute, but i like her in colour.

Her jewellery is perfect at the Oscars (the dress is fine but I'm still not impressed, it's just so-so)

I'm glad she cut her hair super short again. For me, the pixie works best on her when it's this length.

Yeah I agree. Pixie haircut is best for her. Really hate that last outfit.

Boy I do love her. But when she answered the "who is your style icon" question, I rolled my eyes so hard.

So pretty - I forgot how amazing she looks with longer hair, it's nice to see it even if it's only for a film.

She looks beautiful. What's the movie about? And is that Hugh Jackman in the background?

It's called "The Greatest Showman". It's a musical that follows the life of circus owner PT Barnum and is set during the mid 1800's. And yes, that's Hugh.

That sounds fantastic! I can't wait to see more costumes, it's exciting to see her out of LV :D
