I completely agree with all of you. I have adored her since Dawson's Creek, and was so thrilled to see her grow into this wonderful mature actress who was so well-respected but generally kept her private life quiet. I loved seeing rare glimpses of her with Matilda in Brooklyn, where she seemed so normal and down to earth. Her friendship with Busy has always been weird, but I chalked that up to being friends for such a long time.
But now, she seems so much more Hollywood with the jumping from one relationship to another and the overly preachy, incredibly earnest speeches. I kind of feel like she's lecturing me every time I see her now, which is a shame. The "old" Michelle seemed like she had a sense of humor about all of it and just also happened to be a fantastic actress. This version of her seems like much more of a Hollywood insider, even if she still lives in Brooklyn. I don't know, maybe I just had the wrong impression of her all along and it's not fair to say she's changed, but it does feel like it.
