^yes i think there is something a bit dark about michelle...i think that's what makes her intriguing, and ive read it in some of her interviews...journalists observe that it's almost like she is carrying a weight around, not necessarily in a depressive sort of way but i think in a sort of serious, intellectual, thoughtful way...she seems to me someone who observes a lot and feels a lot, and i guess that gives her a depth that is really appealing. i dont think katie holmes has that, or at least it doesnt seem to shine through in her public persona....she presents herself on a much more superficial level which is a lot less interesting, imo...michelle seems like a more complex, multidimensional person...or maybe it's just that katie hides that better

You're so right adorefaith. Michelle seems so much more interesting, Katie seems a bit of a bimbo by comparison -you've summed it up very well. I wonder when she's going to wear colour again, I mean, I wonder how long she will be in mourning for.
