Wearing a strapless purple-tiered gown, Michelle Williams joins costars Catherine Keener and Samantha Morton at the premiere of their new movie, Synecdoche, New York, at the Palais des Festivals during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Friday in Cannes, France.
“It actually does feel kind of special to have two films at the same time,” Michelle said. “The film [Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island, which she’s currently filming in Boston] was sweet enough to let me come here and enjoy it.”
The 27-year-old actress added: “[It’s] something you can look back on at the end of your life and think, ‘That was a cool thing I did when I was 27.’ ”
