When I first saw those pictures I thought they were going for the "Brangelina-light" look.
The leather dress on Miley is something I didn't expect, but this is what's making her style interesting for me. At lest she's not going for the same formulas like "Boobs & Legs" (Blake) or "As sparkly as possible" (Taylor) over and over again.
You've got to be confident to pull of a dress like that and I think she does it well! The make-up is great, too. At least facially, this is the best she's ever looked imo.
