MiMCO Bags. Has anyone heard of them??

at Uni, alot of people sport the Mimco bag... the giant buttons with the coloured leathers are huge!
Mimco had a button tote version of the tassle tote I have above.. same size and shape, but they also had two little purses on the side. For winter, they did them in white, black, blue and bottle green leather. I LOVED the bottle green, but never got around to buying one until it was too late - the day I went to the website to get it, they'd disappeared! 
*sigh*
They've done some summer versions that aren't on the website, with lucite rather than brass buttons.. but my heart's still lost on those green ones.
Right now though, I'm waiting for them to release the navy version of the barrel bags they have on their website. Same as the tan one, but navy leather, with white straps.. super sexy-sporty..! I saw it in a mag a few months back, but it's not due for release until around late November. It's killing me, waiting!

Mimco always have a great range of handbags and accessories.
I am usually not a fan of plastic but this lucite clutch is very cute in real life.

what do you guys think of the quality of mimco bags, wallets, etc.?
i have heard conflicting accounts of quality
i have 2 bags (one unused) that i really like but am looking to invest in a new one for when i start uni next year. do u guys think it would be more worthwhile buying a more high end bag or sticking with mimco?

I use my Tassle Tote day in and out for work since I bought it 7 months ago. I'm not precious with it at all, and despite hard work and tough love, it's not showing one sign of wear! There's the odd scuff on the outside, my own fault of course.. but although I always fill it to the brim (and sometimes, above - I've had to let out the sides before to fit even more in!) there's no pulling on stitching where the handles attach, and no stretching in the leather. I'm VERY happy with it, which is why I'm looking forward to buying my next one. 
I have the same bag as frankiep but the button one and I have used it everyday since I bought it a year ago and its fantastic, I use it for uni carrying heavy textbooks and its been nothing short of fantastic. I have quite a few of their bags and they are all awesome quality for the price, I debated about getting a designer bag like a LV but then i thought Id rather spend $400 on a Mimco bag and have change to spare.
