I read are an article saying that there is a French law saying girls under the age of 16 can't be in runway shows.

Is this true, and is there any similar laws like this in Milan and New York?

i know in the uk .. my friend is a model .. and she had to get this form off the council as she was under 16 .. and they had to sign it to permit her to work .. there are strict laws in uk about working hours ec. for under 16s, also the school had to sign this form to give permission .. to basicly say it wouldnt interfear with school etc., as by uk law you have to go to school and truency can get your parents arested.

I'm sure that if they want someone under 16 to work, and that person has his/her parents' permission, the agency will find a way.
