^I guess it's easier to get the magazine out with a cover you know will sell and deal with the complaints after. There is really not much anyone can do about it afterwards and since the images don't seem to be probably licensed they are free to use them. That said, the shot from Cosmopolitan looks very much like it was done for them, though. It's the typical pose and styling.
