I don't like it at all. My expectations were high after the amazing Men's collection and it getting such good reviews. Would have thought it would influence the Women's collection at least a bit as Missoni seems to have been struggling for quite some seasons now. I like only a few looks and some of the coats but many of the sweaters look sloppy and cheesy and the pastel colors are just not for me.

I think everything is so precious--like cotton candy--and, despite being somewhat oversized/over-the-top, very clean and polished.

I'm not sure about all this to say at least.

I suppose Margherita may be partially responsible or influential in the styling for the show and that's where the problem is. Sure, you can pick some nice pieces, but it really is getting more messy, unappealing and out of place each season. Those full-length coats or skirts seem completely irrelevant, and the closing part done in green and violet is simply revolting.

I can understand Missoni wanting to open to the younger and cooler clientèle, but I don't think that'd be the best way possible.

Terrible show. It appears as if she is trying to recreate the Fall 2009/2010 (?) collection with the heavy layering and what not, but it isn't working here. It looks terribly unorganized and particularly unflattering.

Nothing will beat Fall 2006 for me though. Now that was a good Missoni collection. It was the perfect mixture of the houses codes and modernity. This, on the other hand, is a sloppy attempt to recreate something, but I'm not sure what. It doesn't work, pure and simple.

I actually don't mind this at all, even if it's not fantastic and that memorable. Sure, some of the looks just don't work, and the overall vibe is sort of grandma/hobo chic (with the occasional hooker's python jacket), but overall, it's sweet and comforting.
