wow....it really is a nice bag....im making a special shopping trip today...we'll see if my local saks has it...as i called and asked the SA and she had no idea what it was, but she did say they had a bunch of new pradas and mui mui bags...of course, after telling me she wasn't sure what i was talking about, she proceeded to make sure to let me know her name and what day she'd be there. geesh! they have no shame, those SA's....even when they dont know the lines they carry........

The parcel has arrived in Australia but it is with the Australia Custom at this piont in time. I have to fill in couple of custom forms and send my payment for the duties so that they will release my bag. This usually may take up to 7 working days before I get my bag.

well, the closest saks 5th ave to me had crap for a selection....their "pradas" were merely like a whole wall of nothing but the prada nylon bags....there was one gaufree tote, and NO miu miu.....after that SA said they did indeed have both prada AND miu miu.....also, they dont carry YSL.....so it was tons of gucci horsebits, prada nylon, mulberry, burberry and isabella fiori. the selection sucked. i did see a lady with a medium canvas muse though.......an uneventful shopping expedition....oh well the coffer is starting to grow on me a bit more because of the dual carrying ability and because i have a favorite pair of prada suede boots......

gosh...droooooolll. ive been in love with it ever since seeing it on maggie gyllenhaal but there was a really good pic of it in the october issue of lucky mag. i think i prefer the brown leather one rather than the suede. love all the rouching details and the braided handle.

I have to add that I think this is a totally drool worthy bag. I wasn't too impressed initially as I saw the adverts in the magazines with zhao xun and it looked massive on her (she being so tiny). I went a couple of days ago to the Miu Miu store here in Singapore to look at the samples they brought in and it is gorgeous! I love the suede version as it comes across as a more casual bag (I'm mostly in tees and jeans), but the leather version looks tres chic too. There was a lady there in an Armani suit and she tried the black leather one and it looked so chic on her. Only sad thing is that there is a waitlist on the bag and the SAs have no idea how many bags they will get and hence they can't assure me as to whether I'll definitely get one.

I have received my bag today and it is absolutely gorgeous. I'm totally in love with it. I have not seen anyone carry this bag here, so I am very happy and can't wait to take it out.

I will take some pictures of it this weekend.
