Miu Miu F/W 2025.26 by Lengua

As if Lindsay Lohan hadn't had a solo Miu Miu campaign in 2007, aka the year when she embodied the trashiest side of entertainment, the definition of overexposure, the type of smelly-looking, deteriorated image that comes with an addiction that these days can only be compared to the fenty fold, and her personal and professional life was a well-published dumpster fire. Kylie looks fresh and healthy, she runs a successful business and is dating a Hollywood actor. This decision is more vanilla, zero risque, highly predictable and completely financially-oriented than Miu Miu 15-18 years ago. The idea that Lotta, with her corporate, 'rebel among the 80 year old suits' brand, is making controversial choices.. lol. She can't even afford to choose a model the way Miu Miu went with Querelle back then, the brand and her work are that compromised. It's funny how she does the bare minimum and the media has wired people to still talk about it as if she was any different than her peers..

I'm also more bothered by Lou and the 'duhhh' face she's been giving to every photographer since she began landing gigs cause of her mom. Also bothered by Myha'la.. I know she didn't write the series she's in but her limited range in acting didn't help! that picture with the mustard skirt? that is Industry season 1, 2 and 3.

I think Miu Miu owes it all to Chloe Sevigny - The Miu Miu 1996 campaign with her is the only Miu Miu i like. 😆 Nothing special about the brand itself really. it‘s like Miu Miu appropriated her cool as its own.

Terrible campaign, beyond plain and unflattering, bad angles. It wasn’t a great collection anyway.
Kylie was chosen by Miuccia not Lotta, she always wants a ‘current cool girl’ (who’s not actually cool at all to anyone, but from her 76 year old behind perspective..) hence having Gigi for both Miu Miu and Prada for a few years, not appearing in Prada recently for sure because Raf couldn’t accept it. They’ve also had questionable celebrity models in the past but this is for me the worst one they’ve done because there’s just zero chemistry or match. Miuccia also unfortunately was the one choosing and adamant on Cara Delevigne for face of f/w 2024 (also bad, old fashioned model match)
Kendall being in the last Prada campaign, and being in the new one - probably the lesser of two evils for Raf. Wish there was someone at Miu Miu to tell her it wasn’t a good casting choice (that she would listen to since she not exactly approachable)
Lou Doillon looked the worse imo..

I'm not too bothered by Kylie being in this, Miu Miu has made us used to seeing "it girls" in campaigns for a while. It's the whole execution of the campaign that is terrible. The set, the angles, even the styling isn't that strong this time. They've been giving us "girls stuck in a box" for quite a few seasons now, but this one turned out bad. Their FW23 campaign had a similar approach but somehow ended up looking much more exciting.

I see them going for a man repellent angle to get people talking. While selling pretty easy to wear clothes.. I see it working for the youth market at least.
