Someone mentioned it seemed more like an editorial than a campaign. I think that's why it works, for me. It's so stripped down and joyless that it actually grabs your attention. The closeups are disarmingly unflattering. I like it. I think when I'm flipping through a magazine I'll actually stop and look at these.

Kendall really does work hard to be consistently terrible in every editorial she's in, like it's actually comical. Other than that im so excited to see Yoona !

Basically what everyone already said - they look to be going for that 90s vibe but it's not going to work with models who are this dead-eyed. Funnily enough the shot I like best is of a kpop idol - Lim Yoona.

This is horrendous in print. Imagine seeing that face in a magazine as big as W. It just hits you. After that initial surprise I flipped right to the next page without even glancing at the second image.
