Apart from these slips, Versace was undoubtedly the cast of the season. It had everything; great opener (Anna S), great closer (Kasia S), veterans (Anabela, Bette, Kinga), newbies who fitted the vibe (Juliana, Lin, Stef), solid walkers (Andreea, Aymeline, Iris E, Vika), house favorites (Caroline, Daria, Lindsey), and of course, my favorites (Irina N, Jasmine). Perfection all over it.

I agree. The Versace casting was, apart from some unfortunate choices (Julia ahum) a feast for my eyes! Daria was slaying the runway and it was a nice surprise to see Anna opening eventhough it was quite random.
I was missing Ginta though....

Utterly disappointed about the Blumarine casting...last season they got such amazing faces (Bianca, Magdalena, Cara, Vika and so on), I know the collection wasn't that tacky as it used to be for quite some seasons now but those girls (especially Marie Piovesan) are such a wrong choice, it's so sad because last season you could see every single model having fun strutting down the runway with those metallic dresses and today we had such inexpressive faces and walks

Blumarine must be going through some kind of identity crisis, both the collection and the cast were complete opposites of what they usually have. I thought the cast fit the collection, surprisingly, but it's strange to accept that as being Blumarine.

Nice cast at Versace. Happy to see Anna open. There were a bit too many girls, but I'm not complaining because who knows, maybe my faves could've been the first ones out if the cast was smaller, lol. Where was Jac though?

Joan must have had a good influence on Karl ....Grace, Jeneil, Tsheca. I know Fendi was good about using new black models in the mid-2000s but not so much in recent years.

wow, i don't know if i admire her for tweeting this or if i find it kind of ... i don't know, desperate to say something like this in public. but she's absolutely right and milan really is years behind in terms of diverse casting.

I don't blame her for tweeting, she's absolutely right, plenty of us have said the same thing and I can't being an ethnic model and being told that, good for her.

Milan casting is so, so, boring this season -- way too many young faces, hope Paris brings the return of the mature girls.

Based on her Instagram photos, it looks like Karlie was shooting something in Nicaragua during MFW
