Model Name Pronunciation

Katryn Kruger

Need a native Afrikaans speaker to point out the technicalities. I've seen a few vids where she says her name but it's usually pretty fast. Sounds like kut-RYNE KREE-yer with slightly rolled r's.

Thai (just like Muay Thai) ri (the R sounds more like the Italian one) ne (like near) Gar (like cigar) ci (like sea) a.
 is that understandable?

Festat, another brazilian member, told me that in Spanish it'd sound like: Tai-rí-ni
In english would be something like: Thai-ri ( i pronounced with strong stress )- nee ...
but he wasn't very sure, so I came here, but know the Italian R thing confused me a lil bit more

^Julia like Ju-lee-ah and Frauche - Fr- like fraises ô- like oh my god and che like -chic . Hope it helps..

^Morgane - mor like metamorphosis - ga like gah and - ne like vanity. Warnier - Var - ni - yeah. I don't know if the w is pronounced actually. Otherwise, it would sound like "wooh-ar-ni-yeah".

Tilda Lindstam? She's from Sweden. TIA.
It's pretty straightforward. Lind as in 'Linda' and stam as in 'stumble'.

It means linden (a type of tree) stem/trunk

This type of nature-inspired names are really common in Sweden.

Sara Blomqvist (flower-twig)
Moa Åberg [aw-behrj] (river-mountain)
Sigrid Ågren (branch of a river)

Just to take a few model examples. I could go on forever but I've probably bored you enough already.

^No, not really. It's sort of knowledge for me, please tell us more.:) Is 'sson' (like Alexandersson, Gustavsson for example) pronounced like c-i-o-n in Svenska? Does it means offsprings of someone named Alexander, Gustav?
