Models Switching Agencies

When Suvi switched from Supreme to Next, some people in her thread said it`s a big mistake. I got the idea that Next is noticeably worse option as an agency. I really have not an opinion, I don´t have enough knowledge. But I checked their site and they have quite a lot hot girls at the moment. Abbey Lee, Karlie amongst others. They can`t be so bad then, can they?

In Suvi's case it's not a matter of bad or good... of course, the management provided by Next is more than decent most of times but you'll always even see girls who'll never make it with Women or IMG. Suvi's career is already backed by a certain amount of achievements so it's more about how much they will care of her and dare to keep pushing her. Maybe in some bolder ways, who knows... Basically, it can work really well as much as it can fall flat.

Maren Stavinoha: Click -> Women Direct NY
Irina Denisova: DNA -> Women Direct NY

Ymre Stiekema: Elite -> Women Milan
Luana Teifke: Marilyn -> One NY
Yasmina Muratovich: IMG (?) -> One NY
Iryna Kazhamiakina (Miakina): IMG -> Women NY

well if she switched over, then Im guessing that her contract wasnt up with one agency so they still are marketing her?

She is/was just 4 months with Major. That would be a very "short" contract.

does that mean that flo might switch agencies in NY aswell ??

Why would DNA ''poach'' a model that isnt a big name or isnt making a buzz,i get why agencies would ''poach '' a model with alot of potential/buzz around them.

^ She's buzzing in Asia.

And re: Flo-- it's doubtful she would leave Supreme. Women Paris has a huge board and she was probably looking for more attention. Viva has a smaller board. Supreme and Viva are sharing a few girls now, Flo and Amanda Norgaard.
