i must be the only dissenter here because, as much as this may be "fun", it's still horrendously tacky, monstrously gaudy, and unremittingly ugly. i'm not sure what's worse - those heinous floats or the garish display of colours.
call me a negative nancy but it frustrates me to see scott debase himself with his carnivalesque, costumey offerings. it's obvious he has some talent, even if a number of his designs are derivative and moribund. the clothes do indicate some level of technical prowess (as ugly as they are). but he really needs someone to rein him in and not go full fire-island-drag-race-costume-party. the last thing this looks like is 'expensive'.
his moschino could go a long way if it had a little bit more class or nuance. but right now, this is just unserious comedy.
