I haven't seen it and the description doesn't make me want to watch it, but from what I've heard "I Spit on Your Grave" must be a really disturbing movie.
The 30 minute gang r*pe scenes in I Spit On Your Grave/Day Of The Woman (1978) are hard to watch. It shows r*pe exactly how it is - brutal - it's not glamorized at all, there's no 'torture p*rn' here. You'll be horrified, because r*pe is horrifying. It can actually be viewed as an anti-r*pe film (which was the filmmaker's intention, based on a real life experience of coming to the aid of a woman who had just been gang-raped, and not being able to get the proper help or justice).
The film is very stark and realistic, for instance there's no soundtrack at all, and despite the brutality of it all, I appreciate the film; it's definitely not the 'worst film ever made' like critics branded it.
