Yes that's a funny scene, when making the screencaps I realized I need to watch the film again

Another Italian master at the top of his game:

The Conformist (1970)
Directed by Bernardo Bertolucci
Cinematography by Vittorio Storaro
Production Design by Ferdinando Scarfiotti
Costume Design by Gitt Magrini

my caps

You really seem to have a fantastic taste in films! I love Bertolucci, too, and did you see La Luna? It's terrific!:heart: I always wanted to see The Conformist but the DVD doesn't seem to be available anywhere and I guess that has something to do with the fact that it was forbidden in Italy for political reasons. :(

Anyways, thanks a lot for posting those, the caps look very beautiful! :flower:

I really appreciate the posts of Italian auteurs. :flower: There are some other films that I'd like to get my hands on so that I can cap them!

Fight Club is also a really great-looking film. I just watched the DVD with audio commentary the other day and they were even talking about how dark (literally) the film looked.

Giulietta degli spiriti
i just watched this this morning :o
(watched a part last night.. it is so long.. had to stop and watch the rest the next day)

it's not as weird as i thought
and it's funny, i didn't realise the "cult" were the villains until close to the end of the movie. i guess i accept people like that as the norm here

nice visuals though
and still interesting to watch

I LOVED the music !
