jenny lo looks horrenous. dont care if it was LV....the material, fit, everything about that shoulder thing is monstrous.

Am I the only who thought that Gaga's perfomance was not that great ? It was way too messy and vocally bad.Her voice was so shaky and all over the place. Her worst performance so far IMO

Jay Z is amazing

My thoughts exactly. I've yet to actually come across a performance of her's where her vocals were just amazing, but instead she concentrates too much on the theatrics...which isn't a bad thing, but the vocals can really make a difference. You don't need props and such to perform spectacularly.

Regarding the fashion choices for the evening, I don't think everyone's outfit is awful...there have been quite a few actually which I like.

I thought it was creative and take into account it was her first time and she is still young.
I think she gave it her all but some of her outfits were ridiculously weird!!
I hate that she pals with Perez,i dont like that man at all.

I'm not trying to degrade her performance or anything, but I just feel that people are centering too much attention on it. She wasn't the only person who performed, and anyway, did no one think that the Michael Jackson Tribute was better? Because I certainly do, and Janet really poured her heart and soul into her part.

Thanks for the pic 18ForEver
J-lo, what happened?! she's usually great dressed for tv interviews, press days, etc but when there is an important event, she fails ...(i noticed this lately, hasn't been all the time like this)

Anck_Su_Namun_x I definitely agree that the Janet performance was better. It was my favorite of the night because she went hard like you could see that she wanted everything to be perfect. I really liked Pink's performance. I thought it was beautiful

I agree,i think Janet did an exceptional job it must have been so emotional and you could tell she was using every ounce of energy and determination she had to excell and do such a good job.I didnt think anyone outshone anybody,it was an overall great year and deserving artists were there^_^It was lovely tribute.
Surprisingy i was really moved by Madonnas speech.

And as for JLO i really dont know, she looked lovely on her birthday night.

Shakira On Her Accidental Fashion Faceoff: “You’re Going to Wear a One-Of-A-Kind"

After seeing double at the VMAs, Shakira took to the airwaves on 102.7 KIIS FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest and talked about her real life fashion faceoff with Pink, in crystal-studded leather Balmain minidresses.

“The funniest thing is that my stylist told me, ‘You’re going to wear a one-of-a-kind dress, nobody else in the world has it!’ And I was like, well, you know, I like the dress I don’t really care if anybody else has it or not — but how was I going to imagine that Pink had the same dress! Luckily I was on the red carpet first, so technically…” she jokes of her wore-it-first status.

And Shakira discovered that her style competition took a similarly light-hearted attitude to the incident. “I approached Pink and I was like, ‘Pink, look at us, look at us!’ And she’s like, ‘oh my god, this is the funniest thing, get out of here!’”
