we want to thank the gods for these covers, i knew Muse wouldn't let me down, both covers are amazing, and Abbey looks gorgeous.

Both editorials are fairly long (14 pages each) and are really quite good. I personally prefer Abbey's but I am on an Abbey kick lately.

I actually really like what I'm seeing of Claudia Schiffer here. Especially the inside photos are stunning -- the styling is just to die for. The hair! I love the hair!

Now why couldn't Lindsay have done something like that instead...

Lindsay Lohan aside, I don't like the new direction Muse has taken. While I don't exactly miss seeing three David Vasiljevic stories etc in each issue, I think the magazine has lost its identity. It used to have a flair of its own, slightly offbeat. Now it's almost like they're mimicking some of the bigger publications. Trying too had.

I look forward to seeing Abbey's ed, though. Girl is on a roll!

Hopefully, there are other covers! I don't like Claudia but I have to admit her cover is truly amazing... But Abbey's one is my favourite! and her ed looks as stunning as her cover, I can't wait to see more!

They were basically identical shoots, but for some reason, when Marilyn did it, might I add- by the same photographer, it was "classy" but when Lindsay does it, it isn't. Sorry, but let's face it, Lindsay is like the Marilyn of our day. She's controversial, ever-changing, and interesting. I know so many people will say not to compare the two, but obviously I'm not the only one since there have been several editorials with Lindsay as Marilyn. I don't think this photoshoot was, at all, trying to be like the Kate & Johnny photo because that's just one shot and this is several shots which look nothing like it. Lindsay wasn't trying to be Kate in this shoot, the photographer was simply inspired. But, basically, I'm not going to dislike Lohan just because everyone else does. For me, she's a MUSE and an icon. I think she will be around for a very long time and shock the hell out of everyone when she gets her sh*t together and makes incredible movies.

I think I heard Marilyn doing backflips in her grave just now. I don't think it's fair to compare anyone from today to Marilyn, as she truly was an icon and simply cannot be put on the same level with some modern day starlet who is desperately trying to mold her career and image after Marilyn's. And Lindsay isn't the only one doing this either... I'm looking at you Megan Fox .

If anyone can be called the "Marilyn of our day," I would have to say that person is Britney Spears. In terms of tragic celebrity figures, she is much more comparable to Marilyn than Lindsay is, even if Lindsay wishes she was the Marilyn of her generation.

i have no idea why this was on huffpo today. like honestly, it was said way back here, but a shoot with her looking together and happy would be more shocking than this.

and the original kate moss/johnny depp shoot worked bc it looked sincere. this looks so zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
