Nail Polish

^ No problem... although I wouldn't have known what it was if it weren't on Nailgal. ;)

To give credit where it's due: The original owner of the photo is lvpoetess @ Nailgal, and of waxandpolish.blogspot.com. Unfortunately, she hasn't updated her blog since last October. :(

The peacock-like sparkly polish is Lippman’s “Across the Universe’ due to come out this fall. We had the chance to speak to Deborah Lippman who was kind enough to show us her lineup of fall and winter colors (shown below—which includes lots more glitter and rich burgundies. Deborah tells us that one of the upcoming winter colors—which is a mix of silver and gold sparkles—is the result of a color she created while working with Cher on her farewell tour (her first farewell tour, that is).

ANYBODY IDENTIFY THE NAIL COLOR SHE IS WEARING? brand & colour name?

For the person who asked about yellow nails, 2 words: base coat. It stops it completely (I just use a cheap Revlon one).

^well, it has to depend on brand because I use base coat always, and sometimes my nails are still yellow.

Same here! :( I use one from Dior and I really don't like it. It takes forever to dry...

Just ordered an Essie plosh, I've never tried them before. I needed something pretty and neutral, so I ordered Mademoiselle. Any experiences with this colour?

^^I think Essie is well known for soft, neutral shades like yours.^_^ I want Mint Candy Apple, posted few pages ago, it's gorgeous. But I haven't tried any Essie nail polish yet, I don't know why though. Can anyone tell how's the brush? It's not that wide like OPI's, right?

I got Chanel Organdy some time ago and I soon forgot about it. I just put it on (after I got tired of correcting red colour:rolleyes:) and I'm thrilled, because it's veeery old, I got it last year or even 2 years ago (and it wasn't new either) and it's not thick or sticky at all! I though I would have to use thinner, but I didn't. The colour is very pretty, like a candy.:crush:

Btw, now I'm using base coat all the time (LCN Super Hardener) and I think it helps a bit. But I don't think I'll ever have completely "clean" nails, because there's no single day I have bare nails.:ninja: And there's probably no base coat that can help.

^I really want to try Mint Candy Apple as well. Sounds like such a yummy color, and I think it'd be perfect for my pale skin too. I can't find it anywhere in the stores here though :(

If you don't mind paying for shipping you can get it on Amazon. :flower:

Mint Candy Apple is for sure one of my favorites! I have really pale cool toned skin and I love the way it looks. It is totally worth looking for.

I do have to say that it is pretty milky, meaning that it streaks pretty easily. I have to put on at least two coats to get a semi-decent consistent coverage.

I'm pretty sure you can find it there. They have all the ones that I had been looking for that were pretty hard to find elsewhere.

Essie's brushes are not as wide as OPI's current ProWide brushes. However, they are similar to OPI's original brushes.
