emil, the photos are lovely. Thanks so muc for putting in the effort to post them. I especially like the photos of the exhibit goers viewing the exhibits. I'm also loving the exhibit of her closets. I have this massive desire for a beautiful/functional/color coordinated closted and just looking at those stacks of her gorgeous sweaters motivates me to update mine!

DH and I visited today and it was really nice. there will be a special introduction/lecture on 1/7 with free entrance at 3pm followed by a Yves Saint Laurent movie with English subtitle. Anybody interested to go together?

ps. if you're going to the met for the kempner exhibit make sure you see "glitter and doom" ! it's so so good!

Since I can't afford to fly to New York, I appreciate the pics.
And frankly, I liked Mrs. Kempner's style. She was a woman of a certain age, knew her body and did pretty well with it.
