Hold up...where is Linda and Turly:p?! One of them at least should be there. I would freak if I saw Naomi,Christy & Linda working together. Thanks for the info though this sounds promising still...I guess we can throw in Yasmin for obvious reasons!
 
^^^Okay! But at the end of the day why do people feel they know so much about these two? That they are on people's minds...because they are famous and legendary! No matter what happens they hold great places in history books! They need not to do anything else! They aint going away. But I know what it really is though....who's checking for the people in that person's signature or like Taylor Dayne?! So who really knows what they are really like or would be like if they were even famous(or still famous),let alone super famous! Pressure is a b**tch! I hope Whitney will be fine and the rest b/c I dont thrive on seeing other's mis-steps...I guess its how I was raised,crazy me! But Naomi is doing great personally these days and as always professionally. Next?!

I was waiting on pics from her Bday to surface so thnxs Omifan for the updated pics...I was watching a FTV video of the AMfar arrivals and when Naomi spotted Janet it was so genuine..They hugged a big long (patting the back type) hug..then they held hands as they talked and smiled and laughed it was sucha warm tender moment to watch....Vlad's face in the pic of him and Naomi on her Bday is priceless! lol

She spent it in Italy and with Leonardo as well:lol:! Seemed very low key. Turing 41 I guess isn't that big as turning 40,45,50,etc! I bet she and Vlad went back to the place....

Moving on....I remember reading in Fitness magazine (the Dec. 2010 issue) that if she could have anyone's legs it would be Naomi Campbell's! Naomi & Janet in 1997 and 2010.

I hope to see Christy, Linda and Naomi together in the video for Duran Duran. Would be very sad if they do not go together, are the real supermodels.
 
I dont care if its a video or not I just want to see them together:(! I will take a campaign, editorial, cover...anything as long as they are reunited modeling wise:lol:!

to be honest, Naomi has always reminded me a bit of whitney, as well. it's because they are true DIVAS. and because they are black women who smashed down doors in their respective fields and made paths where there weren't paths made before. it's because they are powerful. it's because they're gorgeous (granted, Naomi has certainly kept herself better, lol). it's because no matter how many idiotic opinions like your's exist - they mean precisely nothing. because both naomi and whitney are legends. and their lives are stuff for history books. NEXT.

One final note: the word 'diva'....I remember Jennifer Lopez saying that she as a minority gets called a diva when she asks or suggests things that her white counterparts get automatically or easier. I see that with these two as well as many others and people feed off of it wrongly. Alot of the time they have to do their own bidding in the biz sadly even with all their success. So this diva stuff is a bit required sometimes for them to get ahead or treated fairly even though its sensationalize by outsiders or just plain haters who are in every form of the business and life. Thats alot of the reason why they get branded difficult b/c you can't just treat them any of kind of way. I think thats why they reached the stratosphere & became the standard in there respective fields along with many others like Diana Ross...I could go haha. I don't think of Diva as a bad thing at all as long as you've got the goods!

The pics from the video shoot is on Cindy's Thread and apparently there is no Turly or Linda no Trinity Reunited:cry::cry:

But they're also doing a Bazaar cover and article and edit and its to be MAJOR.
The comments read this is Fashion History so I am excited to see the ending results to this EPIC project!

Now this is the kinda thing that bugs me...I can't even deny! Come on just once give me a Naomi,Linda and Christy piece! Those two are just apart of this thing as Cindy,Naomi,Yasmin and even moreso than the others included. No disrespect but they were there from the start and worked! I guess Omi,Lin & Christy will work together in my mind only. Tragic!

I'm a lil disappointed to that the trinity didnt reunite on this project...and I would've loved to see Claudia and Kate.....Hey what happened it was reported that Kate was the reason the Supers decided to do this again bc she missed out on the Freedom Video and no signs of her...I'm hoping that Kate, Claudia, Christy and Linda show up for Day 2 of shooting if not I'm going to be a lil saddened!


And Yes Omi what in the world is USA Harpers Bazzar doing these days...I havent seen a good cover since Linda's The Era of Elegance cover! lol
 
^I love or like most of the girls from that era but my main focus is on Naomi and than the Trinity. So without that set I will always feel alittle chapped,jokes!
**Actually the 90s covers were cool IMHO especially up until 1997(although 1999 had some good covers and some after)! But now I'm seriously going 'wtf' like everytime I see a cover its just getting worst,jokes! Only in the US it seems....

Im so in love with the 4th and 5th pics from the right....Christy and Naomi are BEYOND gorgeous in the frame with Karl(4th pic) and the pic of her and Cindy holding hands is too cute...Ahhhhh the days when they were actually going on castings and such.....The Glory Years! lol

I totally remember that! At one point Naomi and Madonna were photographed facing each other and smiling (dancing I suppose?). ^_^
