I'm so happy Naomi is on the cover and the Gucci dress is SICKENING.....

I'm disappointed that there is no Naomi edititorial in Vogue Nippon to compliment her cover shot. I will say that this pose she's hitting is the exact same pose and expression she used for the D&G Anthology ads so it would've been nice to see something different.
I wonder why when editors book a model like Naomi they fail to take a risk, is it because Naomi is strict and wont allow certain things or is it that they're all fresh outta ideas to use on her. Could it be time and money, Naomi being so busy dont have that much time to be experimental or not enough Money to budget a full fantasy shoot...

I feel you but does this look like a woman who doesn't like to take chances?! I dont think so. Even back in the day she wasn't noted for being a stickler about shoots like Crawford or Evangelista...(unless they wanted her to paint her face another color or put her in a maids uniform). I just notice that the photographers and/or magazines give Supermodels the celeb treatment(which most of them are anyway)...its more about glamour than adventure. Are celebs put in these wacky fashion adventures...generally NOT! Although I must say Naomi has done experimental shoots but not all the time. Again I dont think she's directing b/c she's a model 1st...a model who happens to be a star.

I think it is...I remember its very similar or the same as the one posted on her official site. Also one tale tale sign is that its virtually abandoned! Naomi doesn't seem to do the internet stuff(sites,blogging,twitter)...she's too busy or its not her thing IDK.

Fabulous,she can still pose and has the look! I wonder how much that Gucci dress cost....its just a killer! This is Naomi's 74th cover for a Vogue publication...I could be missed one or two but its at least 74.

Thnxs Omifan for the Naomi Runway timeline its aweosme to see her progression and how she matured over the years. It woul dbe a delight to actually see Video footage that chronicles all the shows she's done over the years in one video.
In regards to the Met Pics I love the gown especially after carefully vewing it. Its so delicate yet so STRONG of a statement and against her skin is splendid. I'm honestly not a fan of the hair do but its a different look for Naomi and I can appreciate her trying a new hair do for this occasion.

I love the pic of Naomi and Gisele together. They obviously are really good friends bc I've noticed a few shots of them having fun togther.

Dior Couture SS07 they pratically had a full on girlfriend gossip session while posing together during the show. VS Show 2003 afterparty they were in the DJ booth together selecting records like two college co-eds lol. During the VS show 2005 they were in such a heavy convo backstage they kept laughing and dancing with eachother and taking multiple backstage shots with eachother and they always talk highly of eachother in interviews when asked Naomi has even said Gisele is the LAST REAL SUPERMODEL after her there arent anymore.

^ ok he had to feel like the coolest, baddest man attending the MET with Iman and Naomi on your side...I was watching the red carpets on TV and the dress Naomi has on is breathtaking when seeing it move...And her makeup was so vivid and ON POINT! I initially disliked the hair but now I LOVE it...It compliments her look. The Chiffon strips on the skirt of the gown would catch a lil air and billow in the wind as she walked..It was just magical...
