the collection itself was nice, well finished and clean, albeit a tad too safe, but I suppose that's consistent with their chosen path.
...what REALLY stood out to me is that their model casting was fantastic, covered most of my favorite faces right now.

Everything in this collection is perfection. Each season I like Rodriguez more and more. His perfect and precision cut, interesting fabrics and embroidery. Soooo good. Mini never looked so chic. Fantastic job. Hands down favourite show from NYFW !

So many New York collections look annoyingly similar: minimalism, neutral colours, angular or exaggeratedly round silhouettes, and terribly clinical and sterile. I feel that this has been the case for a few seasons now. Narciso Rodriguez's collections tend to share a lot of these elements, but they never feel clinical to me. Just very clean, very well-made, and very beautiful in the simplest way.

This is what I want to see when Narciso shows: beautiful minimalist design, great use of different fabrics and perfect execution. The shoes just make it even more charming.

^absolutely agreed. simple well tailored pieces that are going to look great as they are or mixed in with what you already have in the closet. I love the different cuts and how they played with the asymmetry of some of the dress.
