i simply had to share because i've just discovered her work as she was shortlisted over the weekend at hyeres, and i'm utterly impressed. narelle is an australian 2008 graduate of the royal academy in antwerp. as i was looking at much of her work and her tumblr postings,i was immediately drawn to her fascination with textures and colours....and many times the textures that culminate within colour.

this was her first collection(no season characterisation)

this particular collection was inspired by one part "picnic at hanging rock",macrame and aboriginal aussie/american tribes.

another shot from her first collection.....pieces pulled apart.

I'm more impressed by the gorgeous presentation than by the clothes. I abhor shiny fringes so there's a lot in the collection 02 that I don't like. But I really like the second to last look in the first post.

I love this as well, strange and beautiful

I dont really like all the fringy stuff but I love the way she presented the clothes as well as the fact the she releases her collections annually.
