I totally get her point: it's confusing (yet amusing) that sometimes the main focus during awards shows is fashion/gossip when the awards are given for cinematic contributions. At the same time, I find her complaining about that a little hypocritical since she is talking very regularly to people.com about her pregnancy and her ads with Christian Dior are coming out. Anyway, it wasn't the right time to complain; she's an Oscar nominee invited to the luncheon and she still finds something to b*tch about?

I think FrenchCactus brings up a good point. If you want to be taken seriously as an actress and not asked about your fashion choices, why sign on to be the face of a fashion label? It's not like she needed the money. It's kind of like the actresses who complain about only being seen as a pretty face while posing for GQ and Maxim.

The actress and fiancé Benjamin Millepied have welcomed a son, PEOPLE has exclusively learned.

Portman, 30, met choreographer Millepied on the set of Black Swan, for which she later won an Oscar for Best Actress.

In December the couple announced that they were engaged and expecting their first child.
