These are the pictures from Linda McCartney's book Sixties: A Portrait of an Era. This is what Linda said about these pictures.

I didn't really get to know Nico well but i thought she had a great face and i liked photographing her. Although i had seen her singing with the Velvet Underground i had never taken pictures. These photos were taken when she was meeting with David Anderle who was then the head of Elektra's office in Los Angeles. I remember David asked me if he could have some of my photos to hang in his office. I gave him a few including some of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.

Oh yes, thank you so much for posting the Linda McCartney photos of Nico. I heard so much about this book and the photos. Now I am glad that i finally saw her photos of Nico!
