Gorgeous. If only his recent runway shows would come up as effortless and graceful as +NOIR often looks like in the lookbook shoots. And is it just me who's thinking that this is what Olivier Theyskens should have been doing by now?

good point...
i can def see why you would say that...
there is an element of gothic elegance in some of the long skirts and their movement that has the same feel as some of theyskens earliest work...

yes definitely but it's just one of those trivial but slightly complicated adult matters that there was behind.
your boots are from femme. for this lookbook of +noir, they had to use other boots specifically from +noir.
hence those back zips instead of the fabric laceups.
but yes why the laceups were femme when they were the best with the linen dress that was +noir is still a little mystery of YY merchandise.

of course you are right that they had to use +noir footwear for the lookbook...
i wasn't really thinking about that...

i guess they used all YY femme shoes for the runway show...
that sort of makes sense when one thinks of it that way...
