Call me old fashioned, but I like when he does his monochromatic thing....it's boring, but at least it isn't bizarre.

Sometimes I feel Yohji Yamamoto's fans are so dedicated they look past his awful pieces, such as in this collection. Some of the outfits here are downright silly, especially ones involving bright prints, and yet there is no criticism yet.

there's something about it that, to me, is so very sexy, all of this protection of the feminine that suddenly reveals itself down the back, a full body tattoo print or with a ruffle that juts out. who needs transparency when mystery is so much more enticing...
