It's time to revive this thread...Norah has a new album coming out on the 17th.. I've heard it.. and it's FANTASTIC !!!!

definitely a new style for her....but I'm convinced you could stick that voice in any genre and you couldn't drown it... she has got something other worldly, that's for sure..

I was reading that she's brought in quite a few new people to work on this record with her.. people that have done work with kings of leon, tom waits, elvis costello. i was a bit nervous to hear the new material, but her voice is as pure and syrupy as always...absolutely divine - and the music is really warm, atmospheric.. still very mellow and romantic like her previous stuff, just a bit more experimental.. I am so thrilled, i can't wait to listen and re-listen over and over.. she has such a beautifully nuanced voice.... and it seems to just get better with age..
